Intro

Hello UWM!! My name is Whitney, and I am a senior at UWM. On top of this being my senior year, I also live in Kenilworth Apartments and work for the Residential Programs Office as a Program Specialist. Which means I supervise a student staff and do other various tasks around the office. I love my job! I enteratct with all types of students as well as forming realtionships with professional staff members. If in my freshman year someone would have told me I would one day be working for the Universtiy of Wisconsin Milwuakee I wouldn't have believed them. Not only does UWM have endless oppurtunities for jobs, but it truly has some amazing programs. I am part of the Letters and Science program and will have a major in Political Science (POLISCI), however through my work experience I am considering going to graduate school for higher education.
Kenilworth is a really nice building to live in. I like being so close to North Avenue and all the fun things to do there, it is also nice to be close to work, just a short two block walk. So far, everyone I have met have been super nice, which helps to give the apartment a good homey feel! I can't believe it is senior year already, the last four years have flown by, so enjoy every minute of it, I know I plan too!
